Júlia Godino Llorens
Júlia Godino Llorens is choreographer and dancer graduated at Institut del Teatre in
Barcelona and after that graduated at the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp, Desingel,
She works as freelance dancer as performer and also creating her own work.
After graduating she co-founded with other 10 colleagues the collective The Backyard a
group of emerging artists based in Antwerp, Belgium. As a branch of the collective,
Júlia and Alexa have decided to develop their own work specifically as a duet, under the
name of their company Júlia Godino i Alexa Moya and together they created the piece
Picnic on the Moon which toured through Spain and Belgium and more recently they premiered Residència 0 and Tan a prop, two new projects in collaboration with the Llego Tarde collective which combines dance and sculpture..
Júlia was also part of the dance performance Venn by Iris Bouche, Damien Jalet and
Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui at the Hetpaleis Theater in Antwerp in 2016 and also worked at
the Belgian production Grensgeval by Guy Cassiers and Maud Le Pladec in 2017 which
performed in Avignon Festival and in Temporada Alta, Girona. She has also worked for the company Kopseer and the company Jordi L.Vidal and she is currently working with the company Opening Hours from Tuur Marinus, and Cia. Unaiuna
